![]() ![]() As with the previous games, you are given a rank at the end of each group based on how accurate your timing was, either “Fail,” “Pass,” or “Excellent.” Getting an “Excellent” rank on the level unlocks the “Perfect” challenge, which appears randomly. Each level uses only the A and B Buttons (typically simply the A buttons), and players must carefully time their presses to continue through each level. Unlike Rhythm Heaven, which employed stylus-based controls, Rhythm Heaven Fever used the more accurate button taps of the original Rhythm Tengoku. A player should be able to play the game entirely based on the audio cues provided by each level’s song.
